If You Find Hair In Your Ear BEWARE. It’s A Warning Sign You Should Never Ignore

We live in a society that is so aware of diseases that by this point, most of us know what puts us at risk for heart attacks and heart disease:
  • Genetics
  • Weight
  • Smoking
However, there’s a factor you may not have suspected, and it’s all about your ears (yes, you read that right).

According to some studies, the amount of hair you have in your ears might be an indicator of your future health, so much so that understanding how they relate to your health could potentially save your life!

Back in 1973, Dr. Sanders T. Frank and his team determined that a diagonal earlobe crease can indicate coronary artery disease. Eleven years later, after a lot of tests, another team of scientists agreed with this theory.

Then, in 2006, Dr. Edston E. also published a study that stated that an earlobe crease was strongly tied to heart disease.

You’ve probably heard the old saying – the eyes are the windows to the soul. Well, if you believe in that, then you’ll agree that the ears are the windows of our hearts. Study confirms – the experts have discovered that the that ear canal hair, that dollhouse garden of black strands inside many an ear, is a common signpost for heart attacks.

However, it wasn’t only about the earlobe, but the ear canal and how much hair it has.

But don’t worry, it’s not the ear hair itself that’s causing the heart disease. What these studies show is that more testosterone equals more hair all over the body, including the ears.

And who has the most amount of testosterone? Men; so they are more prone to heart attacks than women

And the more testosterone a man has, the bigger the chances of him having a heart attack.

And what a better way to know how much testosterone you produce than by taking a look at your ear?

In New York, in 1984, a group of experts published an article in the New England Journal of Medicine. The experts said that they’ve found a strong association between ear canal hair and coronary artery disease. In a study of 43 men and 20 women, 90 percent of participants who had both a diagonal earlobe crease (DELC) and ear canal hair experienced cardiac failure.
